	RESIDENTIAL & SMALL BUSINESS COLLECTION Held Saturday (April 5th, 2008) 9:00am - 3:00pm CST It was that time of year for Spring Cleaning and Recycling. Residents cleaned out their closets, basements and storage areas where everyone keeps their ANTIQUE (old) electronic equipment and brought surplus and obsolete equipment and accessories to this ANNUAL ELECTRONIC RECYCLING EVENT.

	Brought to you by Asset LifeCycle and the Emporia Natural Resources Advisory Board.

	Assets collected: Desktops, Telephones, Keyboards, Mice, Printers, Laptops, Fax Machines, Copiers, Scanners, Cameras, Toner Cartridges, Monitors, Cellular Phones, Televisions, Hard Drive Destruction*
	*Fees applied: $5.00 fee for all Monitors $10.00 fee for all Televisions $5.00 fee for Hard Drive Destruction

	RESULTS: Approximately 300 participants for dropoff Almost 40,000 pounds Over 300 monitors Over 100 televisions Almost 100 hard drives for on-site wiping/destruction
