Current KDHE E-Waste Management Policies [PDF]

"Companies that recycle E-waste should contact KDHE for two reasons: (1) to initiate the process of applying for solid waste processing facility permits; and (2) to be added to KDHE’s statewide, regional, and national recycling directories."

" E-waste processors that carry out mechanical processes (such as dismantling, crushing, or grinding) and/or chemical processes will be required to obtain solid waste processing permits. These facilities will be regulated as "reclamation facilities" in accordance with state laws because they are processing solid waste that contains hazardous constituents and the processing method increases the possibility for contaminant release to the environment or exposure to employees. A condition of every permit is the requirement to demonstrate financial assurance, meaning funds are available for a third party to remove the waste materials from the site if the permittee should ever go out of business."

We are a permitted E-Waste Recycling and Reclamation Facility in the state of Kansas.
